Before You Raise a Formal Complaint

Many concerns are resolved faster when you speak to the service directly first.

Talk to the service

For NHS services, ask for PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service). For adult social care from the council, contact Doncaster Council complaints.

What Healthwatch does

We can explain your options and timescales, and signpost you to advocacy. We do not investigate complaints or act as your representative in a formal process.
